A limit of 20 votes per mobile number per <span class="il">soapie</span> applies. Voters also in line to win 2 of 10 VIP tickets to watch the live awards show at the Durban Convention Centre on the <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_1650753968" style="border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; position: relative; top: -2px; z-index: 0;" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ" style="position: relative; top: 2px; z-index: -1;">8th of March 2014</span></span>.<br /><b><span style="color: #f1c232;"><br />The 10 <span class="il">soapies</span> in the running for this coveted award are:</span></b><br /><br />7de Laan<br />Binneland<br />Generations<br />Inkaba<br />Isibaya<br />Isidingo<br />Muvhango<br />The Wild<br />Villa Rosa<br />Zabalaza<br /><br />“This is the one category at the <span class="il">Royalty</span> <span class="il">Soapie</span> Awards where <span class="il">soapie</span> lovers from across the country get actively involved in determining who’s going home with the statuette”, added project director, Sindile Xulu.<br /><br />Fans can refer to <a href="http://www.royaltysa.com/" target="_blank">www.royaltysa.com</a> for more information and terms and conditions around the voting process. It will be a night of glamour, entertainment and celebration."</span><br /><br /><span style="color: #222222;">Durban ICC Chief Executive Officer Julie-May Ellingson says the venue is ready to host the show. “The Durban ICC is synonymous with the best in class events and we will roll-out the red carpet and the best infrastructure our venue has to offer.”</span><br /><br /><span style="color: #222222;">The awards will be broadcast on SABC 1 for all the fans at home.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: #222222;">“We are in the process of finalising our negotiations for next years event and we are confident we will strike a win-win deal for all," said SABC TV general manager Leo Manne.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: #222222;">The second announcement of finalists in the acting categories will be made on 23 October and voting lines for the Most Popular </span><span class="il" style="color: #222222;">Soapie</span><span style="color: #222222;">opens on 2 November. </span><br /><br /><span style="color: #222222;">A date for the opening of ticket sales for the event will be announced in the near future.</span></span>
