But due to other projects and commitments for the people behind Godskitchen, it is impossible to continue with that same focus, so rather than do Godskitchen, team and the GK family a huge disservice, Godskitchen has decided it is the right time to end their era in clubland.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> However, in true Godskitchen style GK will be throwing one last event to end all events on Saturday 4th June, taking Godskitchen back to where they made a name in 1998, The Sanctuary in Digbeth, Birmingham, now known as The O2 Institute.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> From the various venues GK has called home over the years, The O2 Institute offers them the space and state of the art sound and production facilities to throw the biggest, loudest and most memorable party of the past two decades. Each room in the venue has had a huge enhancement of sound and production in the past 2 years, and whilst a big piece of GK's heart will always be at Air, there isn't the space or enough industrial cleaner in the world that would allow them to create the best experience for you there on their final show.</div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: justify;"> Across the 5 rooms GK bringing over 35 of the worlds finest DJs, Godskitchen legends and future talent one party has ever seen. Godskitchen, famed for their innovative sets, created a stage specifically for the Green Point Stadium. The Expo Centre was also at capacity with over 3500 party people there to witness the first unveiling of the fusion cube in South Africa: an audio-visual spectacle comprised of an outer cube-shaped structure made from over 130 lighting fixtures, over 460m of LED strips, and upwards of 150m2 LED screens. This was coupled with state-of-the-art visuals and special effects. I have learned to play instruments such as the piano and guitar, and then got into electronic music as a teenager.
