<span style="font-family: inherit;"><span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>had his start on the dusty streets of Mitchellʼs Plain in the heart of the infamous Cape Flats. <span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>has an energetic and
innovative style of mixing and has entertained crowds at festivals and on dance-floors around the world. The man behind <span style="font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">ʻIt </span><span style="font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">Came From The
Jungleʼ, </span><span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>started a weekly residency at Fiction DJ Bar in May 2006, after identifying a need in Cape Town for a Drum & Bass night
catering to the lighter side of the genre. Aside from pleasing hundreds of revellers each week, it also secured him slots alongside industry leaders
such as Pendulum, Busta Rhymes, The Bloody Beetroots, DJ Fresh (UK), Dieselboy, Sigma, Cutline, and many more.

<span style="font-family: inherit;">In 2008, <span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>took his energetic live sets to the crowds of Europe
on his first European tour. In 2009, he visited Europe again and performed in
Belgium, Holland, Germany and Sweden and performed at Spainʼs
renowned 40 000 strong Monegros Desert Festival for the first time, where
he has been invited back to perform for three consecutive years in a row - a
major achievement seeing as the festival rarely features returning
consecutive DJs.

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Locally, <span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>has received headline status at nearly every major
festival since 2010, including the likes of Rocking The Daisies, Earthdance,
Synergy, Rezonance, OppiKoppi, and many more. Besides tearing up dance
floors in clubs across South Africa on a weekly basis and creating mayhem
on festival stages, <span style="font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">ʻIt </span><span style="font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">Came From The Jungleʼ </span>relaunched in April 2012 and
returned for the sixth year to its legendary weekly slot at Fiction in Cape
Town. In 2012 <span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>also continued his monthly residency at Origin
in Durban for its fourth year running.

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Aside from all this, 2012 also saw <span style="font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span>touring Europe from July to
September, and again in November. Apart from playing at the first Cape
Town Electronic Music Festival at the start of 2012, he also played at the
Monegros Desert Festival in Spain again, the Laundry Day Festival in
Belgium and the Zurich Street Parade in Switzerland. He played at
renowned clubs across the world, including Amnesia in Ibiza, Razzmatazz in
Barcelone, Cheeky Monday in Amsterdam and SALA Industrial Copera Club
in Granda and shared stages with the likes of The Prodigy, The Wu-Tang
Clan, Skrillex, Sub Focus, Netsky, Doctor P, Eskmo, Tinie Tempah, Zedd,
Steve Aoki, and many others.

He interviewed </span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">Skrillex </span><span style="background-color: transparent;">as part of a Bridges for Music workshop in Langa, and joined
him on stage on his Mothership SA Tour in Cape Town. </span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">ʻIt </span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-style: oblique; font-weight: 700;">Came From The Jungleʼ </span><span style="background-color: transparent;">featured Dub Phizix as its first international in February, and
starting in April, </span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-weight: 700;">NISKERONE </span><span style="background-color: transparent;">will also have a monthly residency on SAʼs national commercial radio station, 5FM.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Saturday, 31 August 2013 proved to be one of the coldest days of the year however this did not stop the masses from gathering at the Town Hall in Newtown so that they could dance the cold away to some of the hottest local and international music acts around.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">It was our first Griet (South Africa's Premium Alternative Dance Music Festival ) experience and outing to Newtown and we were a little bit weary of what to expect but fortunately the event was superbly organised from the safe and secure parking to the ease of getting into the event to the event itself. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">There were 4 stages which were nicely spread out across the entire venue. The Science Frikshun and Gogo Stages were indoor whilst the funky little Hi5 caravan stage and Main Stage were outside in a wicked street style set up. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">We took a tour of the entire venue upon arrival. The indoor stages were vibing but packed to capacity and so we decided to be a part of the action at the main stage for the night. Although it was absolutely freezing, the floor was filled and the artists on the decks threw down bass and beats that brought the heat to keep us moving and grooving.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">We witnessed, <b><span style="color: #f1c232;">Tai (Germany) , Das Kapital(SA), F.O.O.L(Sweden), BartBmore (Netherlands)</span></b>, and <span style="color: #f1c232;"><b>Haezer(SA)</b></span>. Fascinating was that every single artist brought something different to the floor in the form of electronic music. From house, to drum and bass, to dubstep to electro to good old electronic music that just makes you dance. With a little bit of something for everyone we and judging from the crowd’s reaction everyone just had an absolute blast. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">What has to be said is that it was our first time seeing the local acts Das Kapital and Haezer live and they are true examples South Africa’s world class talent. We definitely suggest popping into a gig to see these two play, you will not be disappointed!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">All in all the Grietfest production was awesome in terms of stage set ups, lighting, sound and graphics and combined with the talent showcased it was totally a worthwhile, memorable experience. Thumbs up to the organisers and sponsors Olmeca Tequila, Red Bull Studios, GRIET, Science Frikshun, Townhall and GOGO . </span><br />

Nicknamed
Terror Snake and Downie Wolf respectively, Jeremy and Dylan are not your
average, boring producers. Meeting at school through mutual interests in
surfing, skating and ‘being gangly teenagers’ Jeremy had to work hard to pull
Dylan into the world of drum & bass. But, armed with a stack of Mickey Finn
& Aphrodite mixtapes and an unrelenting attitude, the snake soon overcame
the wolf’s natural propensity for rock music and, fortunately for us all, a

He then got signed to ‘Our Wasted Youth’, A label which showcased some of South Africa's most well-known artists. On New Year’s Eve, I am NOIZE!! Opened up for Lark (DJ set) ad had the guitarist perform on his guitar during his last song, after receiving a large amount of praise from them.
