BALLANTINE’S SCOTCH WHISKY AND BLACK MOTION LAUNCH “BEAT OF AFRICA” ALBUM THIS SATURDAY

When we think of things unique to South Africa the first thing that comes to mind is our music. Music is a daily need for all South Africans and the one thing that unites us. Earlier this year, Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky and SAMA-winning, platinum-selling duo Black Motion asked people from across the country to submit the sounds, rhythms and beats that represent their life and experience of South Africa. The end result, Beat of Africa, an album with beats unique to Africa. 

With the album launch this Saturday, May 6th we have chosen an old track from the duo as our track for the day. "It's You" features the vocals of the very talented Miss P and was released on Defected Records as part of the duo's Rainbow EP. 

Join us as we celebrate the sounds of a nation at this incredible event in downtown Joburg.
