Superbalist Is Rocking The Daisies With Knife Party
Rocking The Daisies Welcomes Australian Duo Knife Party
Superbalist.com have joined forces with Rocking The Daisies for this years festival and have just announced Knife Party. Knife Party the globally renowned electronic dance music duo was formed from two members of the drum and bass outfit Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen,. They are notorious for their aggressive take on electro-house / dubstep. Knife Party have sky-rocketed to become one of the most renowned dance acts on the planet with barely a moment to catch their breath. After years of waiting the duo will finally grace our shores and headline the Electronic Dome at Rocking the Daisies. Words cannot capture the excitement of team Think In Electronic!
Knife Party are best know for their hit ‘Internet Friends’ as well as for their hard hitting remixes. The remixing skills have been employed by the likes of Porter Robinson, Labrinth and Nero to name a few. A Think In Electronic favourite from Knife Party is their collaborated with Swedish House Mafia on the phenomenal worldwide smash ‘Antidote’.
U.S. award winning, indie pop band Foster the People are also set to perform at this year’s Rocking the Daisies from 6-9 October 2016. Alongside them is Berlin-based techno producer Matador and Bristol native Eats Everything.
The line-up would not be complete without some of South Africa's music legends:
Hugh Masekela, Bra Hugh to us, is world-renowned and will grace the festival for the first time. South African hip-hop greats DJ Dimplez, Ready D, Youngsta and PH Fat will make their presence felt at the Two’s Up stage ablaze.
Drum Machine, Sannie Fox, Vukazithathe, Pop Art Live, Narch, Supernova, Akio, Warren Bokwe, Ma’original, Mix n Blend, Hadedah, Fever Trails, DJ Lag, Lucky Luke, Edit and Run and SWIM, Matthew Mole, Desmond and the Tutus, The Wolfpack, Pierre Estienne, Card on Spokes, Thor Rixon, STAB Virus, Toby2Shoes, TheCITY, Beat Sampras, DJ Phil, DJ Switch, Ang, Jews for Techno, Die Dough and Spektaare have also been announced as part of the line-up.

Calling all planet changers, eco lovers and generally everyone who wants to be a part of making a real difference – it’s your turn!
Staying true to our ethos as being South Africa’s premier eco festival, Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies is serious about greening and lowering our carbon footprint by literally Walking the Daisies.
The two-day walk from Cape Town on Wednesday 5th to the opening of the festival in Darling on Thursday 6th October sees two hundred and fifty like-minded festival goers walking to affect positive change through environmental action.
Overnight camping, catering and beach clean-ups are organised with the educational focus on sustainability, ecology and feedback systems. Could there be anything more magical than camping under the stars, waking up to spring sunrises with that unmissable tingling feel-good feeling of knowing you’ve played your part? Walking the Daises provides walkers with a real, immersive South African experience which starts a process that has the potential to create real value.

Due to demand, Cycling the Daisies was created as a spin off to the ever popular Walking the Daisies, which spearheads the festival’s aim to create and promote positive environmental action, make friends and raise awareness about the positive impact of the environmental efforts of Rocking the Daisies, SA’s premier eco-friendly festival.
In the tone of encouraging like-minded festival-goers to reduce their carbon footprint, saving the environment one pedal at a time. This ride will set off from Cape Town City on Friday morning (the 6th of October) and arrives at Superbalist is Rocking the Daisies later that same day, and then IT’S ON!

Ticket transfers opened on 1 June and will close 12 hours before the festival gates open. All tickets can be transferred online and will cost R50.
