Jeremy Olander Remixes Sailor & I And Eekkoo's Letters
TRACK OF THE DAY
SAILOR & I AND EEKKOO | LETTERS (JEREMY OLANDER REMIX)
"Letters" is a two-track product between musical minds Sailor & I and Eekkoo. The year 2014 saw the pair collaborate on a track and 2016 sees the pair reunited.
Eekkoo as an artist has built a dual identity that combines heavy hitting analogue Techno with a refined focus on melody and emotional progression. On the other hand, Sailor & I explains why music is important to him calling it an escape and a world where he feels is home.

The Letters EP comes with a Capital and a Lowercase version, we quite like the Lowercase. Both tracks are strung together perfectly to evoke emotion. The synths lead to a piano which then leads to a guitar gathering a beat that is so clean it shines, all fastened together with artistic lyrics and warm vocals. Eekkoo describes the collab as being a bit lighter than the previous collab, colourful and lyrical. We agree with his description fully.
Letters is accompanied by a good number of remixes all from very reputable remixers. The first remix to grace audiences ears is one from Jeremy Olander. His remix blends together elements of progressive house and techno, the end result is a track that plays with your emotion. Snug and warm but chilly and mysterious.
