Amtrac Is Running After With No Order
TRACK OF THE DAY
AMTRAC | RUNNING AFTER
Only three releases in and Kidnap Kid’s Birds That Fly label is already known as a label to put out quality. With releases from Kidnap Kid himself and Bristolian Applebottom, July/August sees Amtrac's debut on the label with "Running After/ No Order".
Caleb Cornett aka Amtrac keeps pushing boundaries with his music, progressing and evolving ever since he started in 2008. You might have seen him featured on Think In Electronic for his mind-blowing releases on Toolroom Records. His latest release Running After taken from his new EP on Birds That Fly skillfully creates feelings of elation and euphoria sharply contrasted with a calm yet melancholic ambience. A track which can be listened to with zest on the dance floor or with stillness in the comfort of your own home.
When asked about the EP Amtrac explains how he "really wanted to make an EP that translated well on the dance floor and at home, which I feel I achieved with ‘Running After’. ‘No Order’ is like a movie score for the club, diving deeper with its dark atmosphere. Big ups to Kidnap Kid. I love the direction he’s taking with the label musically and aesthetically.”
