RICH WAKLEY ‘TIME TO JACK’ EP
‘Time To Jack’, comes from Rich Wakley this winter, with 2 originals and remixes by Raffa FL and Jey Kurnis to sweep the floor
Leeds native Wakley has forged a career in house music spanning all its iterations: sometimes deep, sometimes techy and sometimes just plain house. He proves he has electronic music in his blood with various projects whether it’s topping the Beatport charts with releases on labels like Hot Creations or memorable sets performed around the world, from Tresor in Berlin,Space in Ibiza, Ultra in Miami and Ministry in London, to big festival stages at Burning Man, Sonar, Kazantip and Exit.
Right from the beginning Rich serves up a strong beat while he proceeds to lay out the essence house music both literally and figuratively. Raffa FL takes this into a deeper and wetter vibe with his remix of the title track.
Rich quickly dives deeper with second original, ‘Throwin Shapes’; making use of gritty bass and great synth work. A solid track with a very special vibe. Representing the other side of the scale, Jey Kurmis lightens the pressure a bit and delivers an itchy techhouse remix to balance out the EP nicely.
