The Weeknd Often Gets Remixed By Norways Best

The Weeknd Often Lido Remix vs Kygo Remix

Abel Tesfaye, known by his stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian PBR&B recording artist and record producer. In late 2010, Tesfaye anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd". He released three nine-track mixtapes throughout 2011: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence, which were critically acclaimed. The following year, he released a compilation album, Trilogy, consisting of remastered versions of the mixtape material and three additional songs. It was released under Republic Records and his own label XO. In 2013, he released his debut studio album Kiss Land, which was supported by the singles "Kiss Land", and "Live For".

The Weeknd has become a household name and Often is his latest offering Produced by Ben Billions and Abel himself. "Often" features the signature elements that makes The Weeknd so exclusive, the low, sultry, flirtatious vocals paired with dirty yet sexy and honest lyrics weaved with R&B vibes and a tinge of an electronic drive .

It's no wonder that electronic forerunners have been lining up to remix this uber talented artist. The end result two very different yet intriguing remixes from newcomers in the scene Kygo and Lido.

Kygo the 22 year old music producer from Norway has been taking the music world by storm with his unique productions.  Stepping out from his comfort zone Kygo delivers an epic chillstep remix to the track

Words from Kygo on the remix: "Was very honored for the Weeknd to reach out and ask me to remix "Often". This is something a little different from my previous remixes but you can expect more diversity in my productions in the future "

On the flip side another Norwegian star  Lido <3 who captured our hearts with his I Love You EP gave Often his special remix treatment.  Lido take on Often is a intelligent fidget inspired track primed on his signature sound that we have come to love.

We'll let you decide which remix you like more. Both unique in their own way from two of Norways most promising upcoming artists.
