Tryptic is a 19 year old electronic music producer at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. His music contains subtle influences from artists like Odesza and Giraffage and can be considered to be a form of chillwave or chillstep with lo-fi touches. He use a variety of ethnic percussion mixed with traditional edm drums, as well as liquid synths and arpeggios.

For Tryptic there isn't a big story behind his music, he just tries to make the kind of music that speaks to his soul and that he would listen to. A lot of people refer to Tryptic's music as trippy or happy music and it's not hard to see why. His unique sound with his versatile production skills, distorted vocals, and calm beats lead to feelings of sparkling chill vibes. Not bound by any genre his productions span across all.
