Off the back of an explosive summer of debuts which saw them take to some of the hottest main stages in the world, including Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland, Global Gathering and their own show at Governor’s Island, trance superduo New World Punx now unleash their first official single ‘Torque’ - yours to own today through ‘New World Punx Music’ via Black Hole Recordings.
Driven by a joint desire to put the fun back into the world of electronic music, Markus Schulzand Ferry Corsten’s debut single does just that. Packed full of the raw energy and non-stop builds that typify their live sets, ‘Torque’ is an almighty blend of dark, techy synths, driving bass and an infectious melody that’s made for the dance floor.
Two of the most established and in-demand DJs around, with touring schedules that have sent them across the globe (and back!), season long residencies in Ibiza, weekly radio shows Corsten’s Countdown and Global DJ Broadcast, their own record labels (Flashover Recordings and Coldharbour Recordings), a string of hits and regular features in every top DJ poll around the world (Markus was recently voted ‘America’s Best DJ 2014’ for the third time) when these guys put their heads together the world takes notice. Preparing to reveal their trade secrets in what promises to be one of the most engaging and truly educational panels at this week’s Amsterdam Dance Event, as well as more key dates added to their joint touring calendar, New World Punx are all set to turn the trance world on its head. For the first time in ADE history there will be a free shuttle bus presented by New World Punx, that will take you and your fellow clubbers to your favourite club! The shuttle bus will go to and from the most popular locations throughout Amsterdam all night long. New World Punx stars Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz will also be hopping on board to travel to their spectacular show this Thursday 16th October at the legendary Panama club.
