In just over 10 short years Discover Dark has gone from being an experimental sister label for the slightly harder musical  offerings from the "Discover Red" artists to a genre defining imprint that now reaches its centenary of releases. 

Few labels can claim to have defined a genre but Discover Dark can certainly make that claim. Discover Dark quickly established a unique sound that embraced elements from both the trance and techno genres and helped to create the sub-genre we 

now refer to as Tech Trance.
