WILL SPARKS RELEASES ‘WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT’ FEATURING TROI
CATCH WILL SPARKS NOW ON EUROPEAN TOUR
Having built up a veritable horde of unreleased material over the past 12 months, it was anybody’s guess as to which track would be next to see the light of day from Will Sparks. That answer, however, was settled last week when the Australian pioneer of the ‘Melbourne Bounce’ sound dropped a preview of his now-to-be latest single, ‘When The Lights Go Out’! With over 275,000 plays since the preview dropped, the full version is now here and available to buy exclusively at Beatport today.
True fans will no doubt have recognized ‘When The Lights Go Out’ as a mainstay in Will Sparks’ live sets over the past few months. With Troi’s haunting and mesmerizing vocals often leaving listeners in a temporary haze mid-song, the high-octane bounce and emphatic basslines that kick in shortly after have become something of a celebrated trademark for the young Aussie producer.
‘When The Lights Go Out’ marks the 21-year old’s second release on Ultra Music/Sony Australia. The all-important follow-up to the wildly successful ‘Catch’ – one which truly announced Sparks as a force on the electronic scene – this second record is set for an extended release on iTunes Australia/New Zealand on May 23 and North America on May 27.
Having rocked sell-out shows in France and Hungary already this month, Will Sparks is currently in the midst of his second European tour in the space of 12 months. With eight more dates to come before the end of the month, including debuts in Dublin and Coloursfest in Glasgow, be sure to catch Will Sparks in a European city near you, before it’s too late.
