Duke Dumont announce Blase Boys Club at Sankeys Ibiza betwen June 30th and September 1st....

Blasé Boys Club announces acts for 2014.

Chart topping house sensation Duke Dumont is likely to be in charge of the most talked about residency on the whole of Ibiza this summer. The big hitting label boss, producer and DJ will be at Sankeys for eight dates in 2014 with his Blasé Boys Club and now, finally, after many rumours and plenty of quiet whispers, the names playing alongside him can be confirmed in full.

Sankeys are delighted to have secured the silky services of Duke Dumont for their Ibiza season, because right now there are few hotter producers anywhere in the world. Last year the Duke secured his first number one with the now Grammy nominated tune, ‘Need U (100%)’, then earlier this year he followed it up with the global smash ‘I Got U’ feat Jax Jones. Duke’s music is some of the most played on the radio, has topped charts all over the world and has been viewed millions of times on YouTube. As boss of his own label, Blasé Boys Club, Duke Dumont is the new school house hero making and breaking records with every release. Playing over 200 shows this year, with eight of them exclusively at Sankeys Ibiza, it’s a real treat. 

Joining him throughout the season will be the first Blasé Boys Club signings, Londoner Kiwi, of labels like Needwant and Deep Shit, who counts Andrew Weatherall and Erol Alkan as fans and ‘I Got U’, collaborator Jax Jones, a fresh production talent with a penchant for big vocal cuts.

Also in attendance will be resident Andy Baxter, a bona fide Ibiza legend who has been synonymous with fantastic DJ sets at the world famous Café Mambo for years. Other guests include the likes of Hypercolour’s house and garage darling Huxley, who is behind bangers like ‘Bellywedge’ and others, runs his own Saints & Sonnets label and has headlined every major club and festival in Europe and the US gets in on the action as does Black Butter Records man Kidnap Kid, who’s massive single ‘Stronger’ has propelled him to new heights. He has just also finished touring with Disclosure and is to play huge events like Glastonbury this summer.

Waze & Odyssey play a brace of dates and bring with them a totally on-point tech house sound that has come on labels like Futureboogie and Kerri Chandler’s Mad Tech. The UK based pair also run their own W&O Street Tracks label and are hugely experienced DJs. 

Swede Jonas Rathsman, an integral member of the French Express crew declared ‘Future Star of 2013’ by BBC Radio 1’s key dance gatekeeper, Pete Tong, plays at the end of July and the fast rising Karma Kid, the feel good French Express label crew plus hot Dirtybird producer Shadow Child also play at the remaining parties.  

This is set to be one of the most talked about and popular residencies son the whole of the island in 2014, and proves that Sankeys truly have all musical bases covered.
