DNNYD - Get The Party Going [Peak Hour Music]
Sound the alarms! Peak Hour is back with another dance floor demolisher from Dim Mak favourite DNNYD. ‘Get The Party Goin’ hits the shelves this week and has already been spotlighted by Beatport and met by a horde of single worded comments from fans including “sick”, “dope”, “wow”, “awesome”, “f**k” and a host of other expletives used to react to the downright dangerous drops and switch-ups on DNNYD’s latest killer production.
‘Get The Party Goin’ as you might expect from the name – is a bold and energetic production effort that throws rocks at the face of predictability. DNNYD craftily tricks the listener, promising a big 4/4 kick drum to relieve the buildups tension, but catches you off-guard with an experimental drop – a hybrid of Trap/Electro – definitely not what you was expecting, but twice as crazy as what you likely had in mind. Before you can even adjust your senses to the off-key rhythm, DNNYD has thrown you back into the four to the floor domain and introduced the full body of the production. It’s crazy, it’s risqué and it will do the damage on the dance floor. Some people might say EDM producers are running out of new and fresh ideas – we say start following DNNYD.
Having spent the last while tearing things up on the underground circuit, DNNYD has started to make his presence felt on the big stage and rightly so as the guy has racked up hundreds of thousands of plays on Soundcloud with his remixes and bootlegs – many of which are reaching production levels on par with the originals that are coming via some of the biggest and most reputable studios and labels in dance music.
