Tickets go on sale for The South African Music Awards (SAMA 20)

Excitement mounts as tickets go on sale for SAMA 20 live event

South African music lovers have the opportunity to experience all the glamour and drama of the 20th Annual South African Music Awards first-hand at the Sun City Superbowl on Monday, 28 April 2014.

Tickets are now on sale for the hotly contested main awards, which start at 20h30 on the public holiday that follows Freedom Day.

Members of the public will be able to rub shoulders with all their favourite local music stars, take in a number of electrifying live performances and generally be part of all the SAMA 20 buzz, gossip and excitement on the night.

With the 20th edition of SAMA coinciding with the 20th anniversary of South Africa’s democracy, guests can expect a showstopper of an event that’s truly memorable.

Booking is now open at Computicket. Tickets in the public gallery are available at R355, with golden circle tickets priced at R435. A limited number of VIP passes for the awards ceremony, including pre-event drinks, are on sale at R620 per person.

For those who wish to party up a storm after the awards ceremony draws to a close, tickets for the official Amstel after-party are available at R480 each.

It’s one of the hottest tickets on the 2014 entertainment calendar, and Sun City is definitely the place to be for Mzansi’s finest to step out in their glad rags – so don’t miss out! For those who are unable to attend the awards, the SAMA 20 ceremony will be broadcast live on SABC1 from 20h30 on Monday, 28 April 2014.
