As far as festivals go Creamfields has undoubtedly cushioned itself well amongst the most legendary of them all. A staple of the UK clubbing calendar, a magnet for the world’s biggest DJs and a memory educing, spectacle boasting source of happiness for thousands upon thousands of clubbers, from Liverpool to Los Angeles and Melbourne back to Manchester. Now in to its whooping 16th year, the mighty Daresbury based outdoors event has taken the excitement around its party agenda to a whole new level with the official announcement that current World #1 DJ Hardwell will be hosting his very ‘Hardwell Present’s Revealed’ arena takeover on Saturday 23rd August.
Brimming with glowing breakout DJs such as Julian Calor, Sick Individuals, Kill The Buzz, Jordy Dazz, JoeySuki and Thomas Newson, the line-up is seamed together by a fusion of the hottest new talent and a cluster of heavy hitters in W&W (#14 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll), Dyro (who claimed ‘Highest new entry’ in the Top 100 Poll when he landed at #30), Dannic (who came #74 in the poll) and dance music’s newest superstar DJ and Revealed Recordings head honcho – Hardwell!
Launched back in 2010, Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, much like his own career, has taken a life of its own. From roadblock shows in cities from Amsterdam to Glasgow and Las Vegas to Zurich the soaring popularity of the Dutch man’s imprint seems to know no bounds. Back at the beginning of 2013 Hardwell, joined by Dyro and Dannic, hit the icy roads of Canada for a nationwide bus tour that took in 12 of the country’s biggest and best clubs. The result, a run of shows filled to capacity with the craziest and most up for it Canadian fans! Such was the buzz of that trip that this year Hardwell is taking the bus tour south of the boarder and onto American soil and heading to 10 of the USA's most prestigious venues. With future Revealed events confirmed at Mansion in Miami during WMC (March 27st), Sundance festival in Montreux Switzerland (May 31st) and the first ever ‘Hardwell Presents Revealed’ arena takeover at iconic UK festival Creamfields (Aug 22nd - 24th), the label is now set to continue its global conquest for 2014...
As well as hosting his own arena, Hardwell will also be appearing on the festival main south stage completing the bill that comprises of fellow Dutch compadre Tiësto, Tommy Trash, plus others. Making up a water mouthing line-up of electro-tinged talent, Hardwell and co will be closing the festival in emphatic style that is sure to ingrain an everlasting memory on the Creamfields faithful..
