Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike win a double of IDMA’s and strike Gold with their single ‘Find Tomorrow’
Back in 2013 Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike won the award for ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’, but last night in Miami the dynamic duo and Kings of Tomorrowland took home the awards for ‘Best Artist (Group)’ and ‘Best European DJ’ at the 29th Annual International Dance Music Awards (IDMA’s) ceremony. Alongside scoping two IDMA’s the Belgian brothers were also recognised with the imperious Gold Award for their smash hit track ‘Find Tomorrow’.
Originally released as the official anthem for Tomorrowland 2012, and also the soundtrack for the festivals official After Movie, ‘Find Tomorrow’ is a coproduction with Smash The House protégés Wolfpack, laced with the haunting vocals of UK vocalist Katy B - famed for her work with Dubstep super group Magnetic Man.
With a trophy cabinet already swelling with recent accolades such as #6 Best DJ in the Top 100 DJ Poll, Beatport ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Track of The Year’ (for their single ‘Mammoth’), the addition of these new IDMA’s further cements the legacy of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s place within the history books of electronic music.
