PLUTO (Remember You) – The biggest song in South Africa
Thank YOU for getting behind this song and helping to make it the biggest song in the country by spinning it on-air, off air, in clubs, pubs and at parties - indoors, outdoors and everywhere. It wouldn’t be this big without you.
Having claimed the #1 spot on the local radio charts for 4 consecutive weeks, the stellar collaboration between DJ Clock and Beatenberg – Pluto (Remember You) - this week became thebiggest song in the country taking the #1 spot on South African radio (beating out Pharrell’s “Happy”). With only 2 other local acts achieving this coveted position over the past year, this is a phenomenal achievement!
Big fans of DJ Clock’s work, Beatenberg teamed up with him and put together this smash in just one day, rushing off at the end of the session just in time to catch their plane flight back to Cape Town. With singer Matthew Field’s unique vocal delivery and distinct African-inspired guitar melody lines mixing so naturally with DJ Clock’s powerful house style production, the collaboration has created a sum much larger than its parts, with a song that speaks to the whole country.
With the video going into production next week, check out the lyric video here
