You’ve heard his work as part of the popular British band BBMak, which sold close to 3 million albums. Once he took a turn towards dance music, there was no stopping his unique, haunting vocal style. Earning high profile features with Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, BT, Benny Benassi, Paul Oakenfold and many more of dance music’s elite, Burns has made his indelible mark on the scene over an impressive 10 year career.

When ‘Simple Modern Answers’ landed last year, Link2Party noted that previously, “vocalists behind some of the most epic tracks to grace the dancefloor have been little more than a name on a record sleeve.” With his solo album, Christian Burns shook that perception permanently, becoming one of the few dance vocalists to receive center billing on a full length release.

Now, Armada Music is releasing the deluxe edition of the album, which includes two brand new acoustic versions and plenty of previously unreleased content. When listening to this deluxe album, it’s easy to understand why this man has been able to achieve what many who came before him thought to be impossible, or at the very least, astronomically difficult.

The credits on the track list look more like the nominees for an awards show, and it says something to the man’s talent that the very best in the industry were all excited to work on this album. Weighing in at a whopping 26 tracks in total, the deluxe version of ‘Simple Modern Answers’ is an impressive demonstration of the breadth and talent that Christian Burns is so well known for.
