Hardwell – the world’s Number 1

Electric Music SA will be bringing the world's number 1 DJ, HARDWELL, to South Africa this December.

The 25-year-old Dutch DJ HARDWELL, who only entered the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2011 has shot to the number one spot in just three years. The announcement of the number one DJ took place at the Amsterdam Dance Event, this weekend.

Tiesto, Ben Saunders, Joeysuki and even former number one, Armin van Buuren, all predicted that HARDWELL would be the world’s next number one pick and, after much debating, the final announcement was made and all speculation was put to bed. The crowd was electrified by the announcement and our very own Shaun Duvet, Managing Director of Electric Music SA, was there to experience history being made.

Despite the fans making their voices heard and showing copious love for him, HARDWELL remains humble and thanked them all saying, “Thanks for your support this year, I’ve got the best fans in the world.”

South African fans don’t have to wait long to experience the supremacy of his music and production with Electric Music bringing the I Am Hardwell SA Tour here this December.

Thursday, 5 December: Wavehouse, DBN (DJ SET)

Friday, 6 December: Bellville Velodrome, Cape Town (I AM HARDWELL set)

Saturday, 7 December: H2O, Wild Waters (I AM HARDWELL set)
