Following 2011’s brash debut The Darcys and 2012’s self-made interpretation of Steely Dan classic AJA, the Toronto quartet’s latest is the realization of more than three years of writing and six months in the studio. With a focus on sonic detail inspired by studio opuses of the 1970s, Warring is a meticulously crafted record in which The Darcys’ love of post-soul and jazz are proudly evident alongside its brand of soulful art rock.
The Darcys will announce a number of tour dates around the release of Warring in the coming weeks.
