GRIETFEST 2013 Get to Know the Artist on The Bill
TAI
The London born, German-based house DJ and producer TAI needs little introduction but we’re going to do it anyway. In his home land of Germany, TAI lives his life through his alter ego as an electro DJ and producer of some of the hottest electronic and house beats on the scene. Renowned amongst the dance circuit as the friendliest man on tour and an increasingly prolific producer, TAI has had a string of underground club hits...
After an exuberant career working for the biggest names in the industry as a successful and plentiful Hip Hop producer, earning him a string of awards and gold plaques, 3 years ago TAI decided it was time for a change and turned to electronic, creating a portfolio for himself as an artist in his own right. Kicking off with his first release, ‘Lyposuct’ on Dim Mak Records, took TAI to new levels instantly. Since 2009 he has then gone on to release ‘Paradise Poltergeist’ with Steve Aoki, ‘TAIFelix’ with Felix Da Housecat, ‘Booty Drop’" with his Hip-Hop rooted buddy Diplo, and ‘Spank’ with his good friends Bart B More and The Bloody Beetroots. Plus a string of releases on labels such as Dim Mak, Boysnoize Records, Southern Fried, Turbo and Mixmash. TAI’s latest single, ‘Indian Kill’, out in April 2013 has already become a summer anthem across the electro circuit. If that’s not enough, TAI has also gone on to remix artists such as Billy Idol’s world hit ‘White Wedding’, One Republic's ‘Feel Again’, Mason's ‘Exceeder’, UKs number 1 rapper Wiley’s ‘Ayayay’, ‘Electric Boogaloo’, and many more...
With an incredible amount of support from artists such as Steve Aoki, Tiesto, Afrojack, 2 Many DJs, Laidback Luke, The Bloody Beetroots, and Felix Da Housecat, there is only more to come from TAI in the next 12 months... There is no end in sight for this talented electro gem.
