The series will launch on the 14th of June 2013 at Trinity, Cape Town with music brought to you by Simon Patterson, Protoculture and Dean Fuel.
The Global Series will stage top entertainment in the form of world-class music on a Funktion 1 sound system and high production value while promising a well-executed event.

Simon Patterson
Top UK trance DJ and Producer, Simon Patterson is famous for 11 consecutive beatport number 1's. He has played at top international festivals, including Tomorrowland, A State of Trance 600, Creamfields, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo and many more. He has featured an essential mix on Pete Tong's show on BBC Radio 1 and now has his own weekly radio slot on Radio 1, called In New DJ’s We Trust. Simon Patterson has also been a regular addition to the annual DJ Mag Top 100 DJ poll, making his highest appearance at number 28 in 2010.
Protoculture
Nate Raubenheimer, better known as Protoculture, has been ranked as the number one DJ in South Africa according to the acclaimed international DJ Mag Top 100 Polls for consecutive years now. He has travelled to all four corners of the globe rocking dancefloors in London, Tokyo, Sao Paulo and more. He has also made appearances at top festivals and played at international super clubs, such as Ageha in Toyko and Privilege in Ibiza. Nate has also had the privilege of playing alongside a diverse of international heavyweights such as Paul van Dyk, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren and Sander van Doorn to name but a few.
Dean Fuel

A solid reputation and loyal following has put him at the forefront of the South African dance scene, having already performed alongside global legends such as David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Erick Morillo, Basement Jaxx, Mylo, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Infected Mushroom, Kaskade, Sonique, James Zabiela, Bass Kleph and even Jamiroquai!
Dean also features on all major international tours of SA, including the likes of Godskitchen, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Pacha, Gatecrasher, Renaissance and Global Underground.
