Electric has just confirmed that EDM powerhouse, Nicky Romero, will be joining the Olmeca Tequila Steve Aoki SA Tour as a special guest for the Cape Town and Johannesburg shows. Given the significant demand for tickets, Electric has also decided to change the Cape Town venue to Thunder City, which previously saw the likes of Avicii. 5FM early bird birthday special tickets are now available from Computicket. Nicky Romero, house music composer and producer, soundly maintains his reputation as one of the world’s most exciting DJ/producers with his newest single Iron. This song has not only reached the masses at festivals such as Electric Zoo, but also made its MTV debut to a worldwide audience during the MTV Video Music Awards. Recognized for his talents, MTV named Nicky Romero ‘EDM artist to watch’ in 2012. Romero achieved popularity with the recording, Toulouse, which became a mainstay on the Beatport Top Ten for a significant time. Olmeca Tequila is a high-quality tequila, created in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico, known for producing the best blue agave plants. Olmeca is created with quality, not efficiency in mind, so the blue agave plants are slow-cooked in a brick oven to release the plant’s finest flavours. The juice from the fruit is then derived, in part, using a 500-year-old production technique before being distilled.
