The search is on to discover the latest SA DJ talent who will stand a chance to play a live set at the Olmeca Tequila Steve Aoki SA Tour, this coming December. One winner per city, one opportunity to take the stage, one night to have the crowds roaring to your beats.

Olmeca Tequila and Electric, SA’s biggest dance music promoters, is looking for the hottest up-and-coming South African DJs, who show commitment, unique style and an ear for good beats. This could be your big break to hit the industry and make a lasting effect playing live at the Olmeca Tequila Steve Aoki SA Tour.

So how do I enter?

A 30-minute mix needs to be submitted to Soundcloud along with a full track listing. Electric, who have great experience in the music industry, will be judging mixes according to music selection and mixing capabilities. Added to your mix you would need to write up a short biography about yourself. May the beats be with you!

Entries close 31 October 2012. Winners will be announced on the 2nd of November 2012 and will be contacted via the details supplied in the entry. Winners will be selected by the Electric promoters, who have great experience in the music industry. Mixes will be judged according to music selection and mixing capabilities. Judges decision is final.

By entering this competition you give permission to Electric and Olmeca Tequila to make use of your submitted details and associated materials (i.e. SoundCloud mix) across their various platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook walls, Twitter, email and website. Winners will need to arrange their own transport to and from the event.

Mixes will only be considered as valid entries if they are named as follows: “DJ NAME - Olmeca Tequila Steve Aoki SA Tour Mix”. When mixes are uploaded to Soundcloud, DJ NAME is to be replaced with your DJ name.
