Swedish duo Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman return to Size Records
Hot on the heels of their massive summer collaboration with dance music legend Steve Angello, Swedish duo Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman return to drop one of the most eagerly anticipated tunes of the year – ‘ID2’, released on 22nd September via Size Records.
You’d be forgiven for thinking it would be an impossibility to follow the sheer size of dance floor behemoth ‘Payback’ with anything even in the same ball park, but with ‘ID2’ Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman have done it in style. Drawing from their trademark forward-looking musical edge that is so apparent in all previous releases, the pair have yet another club smash on their hands, with heavy driving bass leading to a crescendo of dreamy synths and melodic refrain, ‘ID2’ will leave clubbers with their jaws on the floor and hands in the air.
Dimitri Vangelis and Wyman’s first recognised breakthrough was their critically acclaimed remix of Coldplay’s ‘The Scientist’, a massive project that propelled the duo into the spotlight, echoed by the 300,000 plays on soundcloud the track has received to date and was responsible for them justifiably being seen in many publications ‘Ones to watch in 2014’. With ‘ID2’ they live up to the hype and if this dance floor killer is anything to go by 2015 is set to be a very exciting year for the progressive house trailblazers.
