Tritonal Tritonia Chapter 1 Review

Tritonia Chapter 1 is the first chapter in the compilation series from American duo Tritonal. The album lends its name from the duo’s famous radio show Tritonia which debuted in march 2013.  Now I have seen Tritonal live and their energy while mixing is electric this compilations captures the duos energy flawlessly. The compilation is made up of 22 tracks which Tritonal have been banging out in their recent live sets. It starts off with one of my favorite vocal tracks of 2013, Tritonal’s very own single now or never with the addictive vocals from Phoebe Ryan. It also features another favorite Tritonal track Electric glow with vocals from Skyler Stonestreet.

 With each song the album progresses into something that will have you raving, be it standing or sitting in a chair. It is easy to see that Tritonal hand picked each track very carefully and this is what makes them unique. Tritonal also feature two of their unreleased productions including "Collide" featuring Rafaël Frost and Underdown, and a brand-new instrumental, "Satellite, I’m glad they included these two tracks on the album it gives the album a very Tritonal vibe. It needs to be noted that Collided and Satellite are to beautifully crafted tracks and will have you listening with all your senses. Listening to the album, each song has me wondering “where was I for half of 2013, why don’t I know these tracks OMG I’ve been missing out”.  The compilation also features new tracks from Lush and Simon, Estiva, Juventa, and Aruna. My favorite track of the album has to be Estiva - Koalastrike (Original Mix).

For me , Tritonal ended 2013 in true musical style with the release of Tritonia. If you looking for upbeat banging tracks Tritonia will tickle your ears with some progressive house and progressive trance. Tritonia Chapter 001 will have progressive house and progressive trance fans smiling and if you haven’t seen Tritonal live yet this album will deffo give you a taste of that!
